Description Sr Technology Architect/ Principal Technology Architect Qualification:
BE/B Tech Responsibility:
Design Architecture and Design of solutions leveraging a single stack / product /platform. Coding. Ability to code in order to demonstrate product capability , POC or showcase leverage of features , best practices , patterns etc. Knowledge Management. o Publish knowledge articles & white papers. o Maintain & Contribute to knowledge management repository comprising of technical solutions, technical best practices and design/coding guidelines/standards. o Conduct and facilitate knowledge sharing and learning sessions across team(s). o Socialize / Evangelize knowledge management. o Monitor and report on usage of knowledge management artifacts. Training and Recruitment / People Management. o Mentor team in domain / technology. o Host & Facilitate in person / on line training sessions. o Author / Review training assets. o Identify emerging trends and enable self / team. o Assist in recruitment initiatives. o Gain industry / product certifications. o Performance management of team members. Project Planning and Set up. o Create / Review project estimates. o Articulate estimation methodology. o Identify risks and dependencies. o Provide inputs and support to project / program management for project estimates. Solution Conceptualization. o Keep abreast of technology & infrastructure trends. o Identify emerging trends (aligned to EAS goals) for further exploration. o Build / Assist in creating business case for POC / POT. o Build / Conceptualize solutions leveraging emerging trends. Solution Definition and Design. o Support the discovery team during requirement elicitation and analysis phase. o Interact with clients to understand their business (functional) / technical requirements. o Collaborate with internal / external stakeholders to analyze architectural options for any given solution. o Recommend architecture considering various architectural constraints. o Develop high level solution design and get buy in from all stakeholders. o Create a deployment architecture for the solution. o Create infrastructure specification for the solution. o Ensure deployment architecture meets all nonfunctional requirements. o Assist / Resolve any deployment issues. o Ensure functional and nonfunctional fitment of the proposed solution. o Ensuring compliance to patterns and practices of Cognizant / Industry / Client. Project Support. o Define / Assist in architecture and design of application(s). o Conduct technical audits. o Identify / Implement optimization of solution / application. o Ensure design meets functional and non functional aspects of the applications. o Create/Revise design and coding checklists / best practices. o Interact with internal / external stakeholders for architecture / design buyins. Asset Development and Governance. o Ensure adoption of enterprise assets in projects. o Collect feedback on assets relevance and improvement areas. o Track asset usage Identify reusable assets similar problem being solved in multiple engagements . o Create/Review reusable assets. Business Development Support. o Assist in RFP response. o Contribute in external forums / blogs etc. o Assist in client visit / client presentation. o Track product / platform evolution and assist in adoption (if any). $100K -- $150K
