The Regional Business Manager (RBM) delivers embecta Diabetes Care field sales goals by driving the adoption of embecta branded diabetes drug delivery devices in their defined regions.
The RBM is responsible for hiring, training, and managing the Territory Managers that reside in their region.
The RBM is accountable for achieving these goals while managing operational expenses and budgets set forth by embecta DC leadership.
The RBM drive talent development within the selling organization by developing the skills and competencies of the TMs to qualify them for future positions of increased responsibility and scope expansion within the business.
Responsibilities:
Leads and manages the sales team within his/her region to deliver embecta Brand sales.
Manages the Sales Associates to maximize impact on embecta Brand sales, drive innovation growth and deliver optimized sales performance Directs the team to achieve goals in specific product sales while maximizing profitability Coaches and trains the Sales Associates to expand results via account and territory management Enhances team development and talent growth to advance skills and increase overall results.
Drives operational effectiveness within the region through resource and financial management Represents the sales organization at leadership meetings contributing to the business strategy Executes the business strategy with tactical application to the sale organization and regional Territory Manager Participates in key diabetes exhibits, conferences and shows to expand knowledge and broaden customer engagement.
Works with Territory Managers monthly within their territories to understand customer needs, assess skills and competencies, drive process and reinforce strategy.
Serve as a liaison between sales, marketing and sales operations EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
Must have a Bachelor's Degree - (preferably Life Sciences/MBA) Must have 5-8 years consistent sales success and demonstrated leadership, (training / management) experience in pharmaceutical and or medical device sales.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong financial and analytical skills and applications to business plans Strong leadership and managerial skills Knowledge of the diabetes disease state is strongly preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
