We have an immediate contract opportunity for a Senior Project Manager, with one of our F500 clients in Franklin Lakes, NJ
Responsibilities:
Creates project plans and works with key stakeholders to deliver projects on time and on budget oManages project resources and scope oManages integration of projects into programs o Holds and facilitates periodic project management meetings to discuss status and health of projects with key stakeholders; produces project status and health reports for publication to project sponsors and other key leadership throughout the organization oManages risks and issues, ensuring mitigation processes are developed and effectively used, and that problems are resolved and escalated as appropriate oManages project/program organizational change management.
Qualifications:
oBusiness acumen: Master skills in understanding the business, being agile in a highly matrixed environment and applying expertise in communication with diverse groups of people and skill sets o Execution: Mastery of project scheduling skills and use of PPPM software (MS Project, Project Server) oStrategic thinking: Demonstrated ability to understand complex, at times ambiguous, multi-project environments and be able to quickly diagnose potential risks, issues and mitigation plans oTalent management: Demonstrated capability to facilitate groups of senior resources, provide candid feedback, ability to train people on complex tools sets, and excellence in working in a highly collaborative environment. oPersonal credibility and integrity: Demonstrated excellent in professional communication, a high degree of integrity, and willingness/strength to do the right thing in difficult situations o Project/Program Leadership: Must be able to demonstrate mastery of PMO processes and best practices and have the ability to influence leaders to adopt these practices, tools, and templates into all projects oMinimum 10 years' experience complex project and program management in life sciences/consumer products oGeographic Scope: Ability to work in both Franklin Lakes, NJ and to travel to other BD locations worldwide, as necessary, with ability to speak & write fluent English oSoftware: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), MS Project or Project Server oPreference will be given to candidates with Finance experience o Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a Life Sciences customer facing organization (sales and marketing) oPrimary responsibility for at least three full-cycle projects with $2M or more of budgeted value o GxP and/or SOX experience oHistory working with shared services organizations oProcess management/improvement and business/data analysis skills/experience oSoftware - SAP 6.0; SharePoint; intermediate Excel skills, proficiency in PowerPoint
