We have an immediate opportunity in the Franklin Lakes, NJ area for an R&D Engineer. This position is responsible for development and testing of new medical devices. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for functional testing of devices and will interact with vendors in the procurement of new materials better suited to the applications. The Engineer will be responsible for organizing experiments and results, interpreting data, developing intellectual property and reporting research progress to management and product development teams. Finally, the Engineer will contribute significantly to the development of medical devices.
More specifically, the job responsibilities will include:
o Support design and development activities for products within the current portfolio offerings
o Support current products in terms of quality, manufacturing, supply continuity and cost improvement
o Participate in executing technical and/or cross-functional project work
o Contribute to a culture of innovation by proactively generating novel concepts to improve current product performance or enhance current products' ability to address customer needs
Experience and skills:
o Minimum of 2 years' experience as an R&D or product design / development engineer in the medical device industry
o Experience with designing and developing disposable medical device products for high-volume manufacturing methods such as injection molding, automated assembly and packaging processes
o Relevant experience includes design considerations such as tight tolerances and design implications for quality control for high-volume manufacturing processes
o Experience with FDA class II or III medical devices preferred
o Experience with 3D CAD and FEA software

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
