We are seeking a Business Analyst to support one of our customers in Franklin Lakes, NJ for a 7 month contract.
Responsibilities:
As an associate with a dual reporting relationship into IT and Quality Management, the incumbent will be required to work collaboratively with Quality, IT, Business Partners, and software Vendor to execute data migration from legacy software to a new system. Specific responsibilities will include:
o Coordinate and execute the data migration activities to migrate master equipment data from legacy systems to a new Enterprise Calibration Management system (Blue Mountain)
o Support different BD manufacturing locations to extract, cleanse and map legacy data into the new format to be loaded to the new system
o Review completed data migration workbooks using SQL queries.
o Perform data migration validation to verify that data are migrated correctly from legacy system to new system
o Execute software validation OQ and PQ test cases following good testing and good documentation practices
Qualifications:
o Practical knowledge in data migration including data extraction, cleansing, mapping, loading and data verification.
o Two years of work experience with SQL and Oracle database; writing/designing queries, functions, and procedures
o Practical experience in Microsoft SQL Server querying and schema development.
o Practical knowledge in relational database structure, design, and queries.
o Advanced user of Microsoft Excel.
o Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a Systems Development Lifecycle methodology.
o Working knowledge of testing concepts, verification and validation techniques, risk management
o Preferred candidate will have prior experience
o Performing system's validation in regulated industries (e.g. pharmaceutical / medical device manufacturers)
o Writing, reviewing and / or approving SDLC validation deliverables throughout all phases of a system implementation
o Practical Working Knowledge of cGMP, FDA QSR's, ISO 13485, FDA/ISO regulations relevant to Computer and Software Systems Validation
o Candidate must strive to interject quality into all tasks and deliverables assigned, without sacrificing timelines and customer good will
o Must have ability to develop creative solutions that maintain compliance to policies and procedures and still meet project/user goals
o Excellent communications skills, written and verbal
o Excellent follow-up and documentation skills
o Practical experience working with or within an Information Technology organization
o BS/BA Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
