Web Programmer - Visual Studio, CSS, HTML, JavaScript

We have an immediate contract opportunity with our client, a large F500 company based in the Franklin Lakes, NJ area.

We are looking for a Web Programmer/ Front End Developer to work within our clients IT security team to build custom front end/back end systems (end to end). This candidate will need to possess excellent competency in Visual Studio as well as have a keen eye for detail, especially in graphics, layout and creativity. You will help update and redesign various existing websites, dashboards and portals as well as design and set the future direction for new web sites. Individual must understand the need for standards, have the ability to code elegantly with documentation, understand the importance of the end user experience and perform under tight deadlines. Individual must be a self-starter, be able to handle a fast paced work environment, and enjoy both working as a team and as an individual contributor.

Candidates must provide a portfolio demonstrating their capabilities. Desired Skills and Experience Primary Requirements:
o Experience architecting, designing, developing, and maintaining innovative, engaging, and informative web sites for an international audience.
o Experience in Visual Studio 2010 or 2012.
o Experience coding HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
o Experience with C/C++/C#/.NET
o Experience with SQL and IIS
o Experience with Active Directory and LDAP
o Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, Backbone.js, and Knockout.js.
o Ability to translate a complicated visual design into a pixel-perfect experience.
o Understanding of legacy and cross browser development back to IE8.
o Ability to work on several project requests simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
o Attention to detail, especially in the layout, contents, graphics and user experience.
Additional Skills:
o Experience with web application frameworks.
o Experience with graphic design programs such as Photoshop.
o Experience with dynamic style sheets such as LESS and SASS
o Knowledge of web security such as SSL, Encryption, Hashing. Consults with clients and other project team members to design, build and manage websites.
Develops installation programs for websites. May negotiate contracts/agreements with software vendors and other internet companies.

Qualifications:

May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures (i.e., SQL, C++, HTML, CGI and JavaScript). Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a project leader or manager.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
